Gymnosperms

They are vascular plants with flowers and seeds, but no fruits. Gimno means naked, and sperma means seed. In this way, Gymnosperms are those plants whose seeds are unprotected, naked. They are divided into Conyferophyta (pines), Cicadophyta (cycads), Gnetophyta (gnetum) and Ginkgophyta (ginko).
