Usually they are predators of the species, being organisms that feed or do not have the possibility of coexistence in the same habitat. They are of great importance for maintaining the size of populations and maintaining the ecological balance. Microorganisms, insects or other animals that attack pests and pathogens causing damage to plants or animals. Organism that has another organism as the base of its food chain and for this reason controls the size of its population.
