Nectary

It is every gland in a plant organism primarily capable of producing and secreting nectar. Nectaries are common in flowers, offering a source of liquid and carbohydrates to animals, which can thus act in the pollination of plants, but nectaries also occur in several other organs, with the most different purposes.
