Seaweed

Chlorophyllous plant organism, single or multicellular, microscopic or macroscopic, that live in fresh or salt water and that attaches itself to rocks or groups together, forming plankton and capable of carrying out photosynthesis. It plays a fundamental role in the food chain of aquatic environments.
