Technique used in agriculture that consists of placing pieces of bamboo, wooden sticks or other material next to the stem of the plants in order to support it and guide its growth. This measure can be temporary, when used only at the beginning of the formation of a crop or during the fruiting period, or permanent when used until harvest. Synonym: Shoring.
