Weathering

Set of physical, chemical and biological processes that act on rock and minerals resulting in their disintegration or decomposition. It was through this action that the soils emerged. The main controllers of the dynamics of weathering processes and the type of weathering are climate, temperature, humidity, wind regime, evaporation, sunlight and biological action.
